Improv Log Cabin Quilt Workshop
Are you ready to try something new? In this workshop we are going to take the traditional log cabin block and piece it using an improvisational technique that is quick and easy to learn. Each block will be unique and your finished quilt will be a one-of-a-kind creation.
This is a fun, easy going workshop that has endless creative possibilities.
The workshop is done in two sessions of 3 hours each. In the first session we will learn the process and start creating blocks. You will be asked to continue making blocks after the first session so that you are ready for the next step. In the second session we will discuss design and assembly of your pieced blocks and begin putting them together. Depending on the size of your quilt you may be able to complete the quilt top in the workshop.
